Popular mini PC maker, ACEMAGIC, has officially launched its newest mini PC called Retro X5 in China, bringing back the classic Nintendo Entertainment System console vibes. The company today launched the Retro X5 mini PC in China, featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point processor that brings a strong Zen 5-based 12-core/24-thread configuration for users. The mini PC appears identical to the classic NES console, featuring a similar dual-color chassis in grey/white combo, as well as familiar accents. The Power button has now been shifted to the right, and instead of the Reset button, you will find some USB ports at the front, including a Type-C and two Type-A ports. Plus, a 3.5mm audio jack is also provided beside the USB ports.

At the back of the Retro X5, you will find two more USB Type A 3.2 ports and a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port. There is a single HDMI 2.1 and DP 2.0 port for display output and dual 2.5 G LAN for wired connectivity. As far as the configuration is concerned, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 will be bringing a CPU+GPU+NPU combo for productivity apps, AI, and gaming workloads. The processor boasts Radeon 890M iGPU based on RDNA 3.5 architecture, which is one of the most popular iGPUs in Mini PCs and gaming handhelds these days.

The system is equipped with 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD for storage, and it costs 6,499 Yuan, which translates to around US$940. We don't know if Retro X5 will be available worldwide, but we will update you as soon as we receive any information on it. As for the Retro X3, it's going to be a Zen 4-based device, bringing the Ryzen 7 H 255 processor that boasts Radeon 780M iGPU. The Retro X3 should cost less, but ACEMAGIC hasn't launched it yet.
