A new handheld player enters the competition and offers what it calls a "glass-free" 3D gaming experience on a large gaming handheld.
Abxylute Announces 11-inch 3D ONE Gaming Handheld, Powered By Intel Core Ultra 7 258V; Offers Individually Optimized Titles for "True" Native 3D Gaming
Gaming handhelds are evolving quite rapidly, and thanks to latest Intel and AMD APUs, powering the latest games is now possible without a discrete GPU. Even though we are far behind a full-fledged desktop in terms of gaming prowess, there are certain ways handheld manufacturers are trying to improve the immersion on handhelds. One of the latest examples is 3D ONE, which is developed by "Abxylute", a handheld and controller company you may not have heard of.
The company just announced what it calls "World's First Glasses-Free 3D" gaming handheld that will be launched on Kickstarter tomorrow, i.e., 19th November, 2025. 3D ONE isn't a conventional gaming handheld, but it attempts to stand out in the crowd by offering "True" native 3D rendering, bringing better immersion in your favorite titles. Moreover, the handheld boasts a large 11-inch display boasting 2560x1600 resolution.
This is going to be a bit too much for its processor, which is Intel Core Ultra 7 258V. Even though the 258V is capable of handling most titles without needing a discrete GPU, QHD+ resolution will be really demanding for the Arc 140V. On top of that, the screen can boost up to 120 Hz refresh rate, enabling smoother motion, and as we can see in Abxylute's demo video, modern titles like Cyberpunk 2077 struggle to run properly.
Nonetheless, there will be many titles that will run with better frame rates, and 3D ONE's selling point is its 3D experience without 3D glasses, which is a unique approach to the handheld gaming sphere. abxylute sys that through optimization title by title, they are able to deliver crisp and floating UI with no ghosting, stronger depth, lower latency, and reduced performance overhead. Currently, there are 50+ titles that the company claims to have optimized and will keep adding more. 3D ONE is also reportedly suitable for movies, stereo SBS films, and 3D videos.
The handheld offers competitive specs, but just 50 Wh battery life. When it goes live on Kickstarter tomorrow, it will be available for $1,499 as an Early Bird Price, but its regular retail price will be $1,799. Abxylute says that the first 80 units will ship in December, and the remaining ordered handhelds will ship in February 2026.
