Microsoft's premium browser the Internet Explorer 9 has been downloaded more than 2.3 million times in just 24 hours after it's release on Monday. These statistics equal to 27 downloads every second or around 250 downloads every 10 seconds! Users have welcomed the much needed new features like do not track options and site lists etc.
The alphas, betas and all the previous releases have been downloaded more 40 million times over the past year. The final build of IE made many record including the downloads being more than double of the IE9 beta and 4 times that of IE9 RC.
