The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is Ubisoft’s latest entry into the mobile gaming space. The mobile gaming platform is relatively new and is notorious for being rife with microtransactions and other pay-to-win mechanics. While the game is entertaining and fun to play, it has its share of shortcomings. At the very least, it’s a well-designed game with okay-ish mechanics and a not-so-steep learning curve. Ubisoft cut no corners when it comes to developing The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, and I quite liked the gameplay and graphics. The problem is that it seems more of a gargantuan monetisation program with some gameplay elements in between. I’m yet to come across a game that has as many microtransactions as The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. I hope that I don’t have to anytime soon because we’re doomed if all of mobile gaming is headed in this direction.
