This might be the most dominant sales figures for the flagship RDNA 4 GPU, but this isn't the same everywhere.

AMD RX 9070 XT Sells Nearly 925 Units, Edging Out the RTX 50 Series’ Combined 920 Shipments

It's true that Radeon RX 9070 XT is one of the best upper mid-range GPUs, but it's surprising to see its sales doing significantly better than what one would expect. While a single retailer doesn't show the entire picture, it still gives a rough idea of what consumers are preferring in a particular region, and it looks like Germans are really loving the flagship RDNA 4 GPU.

The latest GPU sales stats for Mindfactory are out, and according to the sales figures for the last week, the Radeon RX 9070 XT has sold nearly 925 units. Compared to NVIDIA's top-selling GPUs, such as the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it's much higher, as the latter didn't even reach 400 units. But the most surprising part is the lackluster sales for the rest of the GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, which accounted for a total of 920 units combined.

The RX 9070 XT, therefore, wins by a slightly higher volume without needing any assistance. That said, the Radeon RX 9060 XT did a wonderful job as well, selling 515 units in the same time span, and both of them together outsold the entire NVIDIA and Intel GPU stack. Once again, we see the Radeon RX 9070 being ignored by gamers, as it hardly sold 40 units. This has been the case since its launch and it's definitely a great GPU too, but it appears that gamers generally prefer the RTX 5070, which offers nearly similar raster performance, but higher RT numbers.

Keep in mind, even though the RX 9070 XT sells like hotcakes in most regions, it's definitely not the best-seller everywhere. In several online retailers, the RTX 5070 takes the number position. However, at the time of writing, we can see the RX 9070 XT at the top of the leaderboard on major NA retailers like Amazon and Newegg.

All in all, last week's MF's stats clearly put AMD ahead of NVIDIA with a total of 1,560 units shipped while NVIDIA stayed under 1,000 units. One of the reasons for amazing sales numbers for RX 9070 XT is due to its price reduction in the recent days, as finally we can see the GPU dropping near to its MSRP since launch.
