Lenovo Debuts Legion Pro Series OLED Monitors, Starting at $337; Available in Both 2K and 4K Variants with Up To 280Hz Refresh Rate
Competition in the OLED display category is getting aggressive, and while we already have some QHD OLED gaming monitors available for as low as $450-$500, Lenovo just brought the price to under $350. Lenovo is the most popular PC brand on earth, isn't just involved in desktops and laptops; it is also an active competitor in the monitor market. The company just launched its new Legion Pro OLED series, which brings three models for the mainstream market.
The Legion Pro OLED series brings three models as follows:
- Pro 27Q-10: 27-inch, 2560x1440p resolution, 280Hz Refresh rate: 2,399 Yuan or US$337
- Pro 27UD-10: 27-inch, 3840x2160p resolution, 240Hz Refresh rate: 4,299 Yuan or US$604
- Pro 32UD-10: 32-inch 3840x2160p resolution, 240Hz Refresh rate: 4,799 Yuan or US$675
Currently, the first region to see an official launch is China, where these models have officially launched on popular e-commerce platforms such as JD. The most interesting model is the Pro 27Q-10, which offers competitive mid-range specifications like QHD resolution and up to 280Hz refresh rate, but costs just 2,399 Yuan, which translates to US$337. This might be the cheapest QHD OLED gaming monitor ever.
The Pro 27Q-10 offers a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio for exceptional blacks, 99% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 color spaces, True 10-bit color depth, and great color accuracy with Delta E < 2. The monitor boasts typical brightness of up to 250 Nits, but in HDR mode it can boost up to 400 and 1000 nits as peak brightness (APL 10% and 3%, respectively).
The other two models, Pro 27UD-10 and Pro 32UD-10, also have identical specifications in most areas, except that they feature UHD resolution and up to 240Hz refresh rate. All these monitors bring an ergonomic stand for easy adjustments and offer 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DP 1.4 for display outputs. Plus, there is a dedicated USB Hub with multiple Type A, Type B, and Type C ports for peripheral connectivity.
