Although the Google I/O 2023 may have been underwhelming for some, it is safe to say that Google made a ton of announcements, and one of them is how the company is revamping Android and powering it up with a lot of Ai features. The company prides itself on the fact that you can actually go ahead and personalize your Android device the way you want, and with the power of generative AI, you can take these capabilities even further.

Android 14 will bring a lot of new features revolving around generative AI to make your experience even better than before

The first new feature coming to Android is Magic Compose. This new Messages by Google feature will use generative AI and help you "add an extra spark of personality to your conversations." The new feature is going to offer suggestions based on the context of the message, and it can even help you write in various styles. You can make your messages concise and professional or have them look like a famous playwright like Shakespeare writes them.

In addition to that, with updates to Android 14 later this year, users will be able to customize their lock screen even more with new clocks, shortcuts, monochrome color schemes, and more. You are also getting emoji wallpaper and cinematic wallpapers that will be able to transform your favorite images into 3D images. You can even use generative AI to create your wallpapers, making Android even better.

Last but not least, Google has also announced that apps like Instagram are getting Night Mode and 10-bit HDR video. On top of that, Android 14 will bring support for Ultra HDR, allowing users to take much better images that look great.
