This mini PC boasts a flagship memory option for those who want to carry out memory-intensive operations and want the best computing performance Zen 5 has to offer.
Abee Launches AI Station 395 Max, Offering Flagship Strix Halo APU, 128 GB LPDDR5X-8000 Memory, and Built-in 400W Power Supply
Chinese PC case manufacturer, Abee, has officially launched its first Mini PC powered by the flagship Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor based on Zen 5 architecture. The company usually makes a variety of PC cases and fans, but also has a few power supply units in its catalog. Its AI Station 395 Max mini PC makes its debut in the mini PC industry, offering the best possible configuration on the very first product.
Abee previously provided its C700W chassis for Maxsun's AI Workstation that can host up to 4x Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo cards for up to 192 GB video memory. Using its PC case manufacturing skills, Abee has designed a cube-like mini PC that measures 199x199x199mm, and uses water cooling to achieve great thermals. The AI Station 395 Maax brings the power of a 16-core/32-thread Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, which offers RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 8060S iGPU for executing demanding workloads and can game as well.
It clearly appears that Abee wanted to make this machine powerful in AI operations as well, and accommodated 128 GB LPDDR5X memory clocked at 8000 MT/s. This is quite overkill for most users, but for AI workloads, it's very beneficial. For storage, it comes equipped with a 2 TB SSD, and should allow expanding the storage with more slots.
The system will utilize a built-in 400W power supply, and as you can see, Abee claims that its 10-pin ATX12VO design reduces the overall idle power consumption by up to 27% compared to a traditional 24-pin ATX power supply. For connectivity, the machine comes with dual LAN ports, offering 2.5G and 10G options, and has plenty of USB ports, including USB4 Type C and Type A ports for peripheral connectivity.
Price-wise, it's going to be quite expensive, and as per the report, Abee has launched it at 17,999 Yuan or US$2524.
