Xiaomi garnered tremendous attention when they released their first bezel-less flagship, the Mi Mix. The device became popular among the users who craved for a better design. Thanks to the popularity, Xiaomi recently announced the successor to the Mi Mix, dubbed Mi Mix 2.

Adding to the buzz, the company today released Global Stable version of MIUI v8.5 for the Mi Mix 2. If you own the device, then you can go ahead and download it manually from the Mi forum or wait for the OTA notification. Also, you can check for it manually by going to the "Updater" on your phone and selecting "check for updates."

The Mi Mix 2 boasts a 5.99-inch display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. Other hardware specs on the device include 6GB of RAM (8GB RAM for special edition), Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, and 64GB/128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 flash storage depending on the variant.
