According to details taken from Anzhuo, the three models of the Xiaomi Mi 8 that were being sold were the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model, followed by the 128GB storage variant with the same amount of RAM, and last, but certainly not least, the 256GB storage version. Xiaomi 12 Series Goes Global with $649 Starting Price and a Lot More

Unfortunately, no information has been provided as to how many units of the smartphone were actually sold. However, if you compare the features, specifications and other details of the OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi 8, you will notice that the latter comes at a very affordable price and is by far, the cheapest Snapdragon 845-fueled smartphone you can find right now.

The base model of the Mi 8 starts at approximately $421 (6GB of RAM + 64GB storage), which should be plentiful for a lot of customers out there. However, there are others that require more storage and since the flagship does not come with an expandable storage slot, they were inclined to pick up the beefier storage versions.

While the number of units has not been detailed by the company, we are confident that a large number of them have been sold, and that is thanks to the Mi 8’s price/performance ratio.
