Windows 10 Cumulative Updates for July Now Out for All But One Version

Microsoft has released the Patch Tuesday Windows 10 cumulative updates to various versions of the operating system, including the latest May 2019 Update.

The latest Windows 10 version 1903 is receiving KB4507453 (Build 18362.239), version 1809 gets KB4507469 (Build 17763.615), version 1803 gets KB4507435 (Build 17134.885), version 1709 receives KB4507455 (Build 16299.1268), Creators Update is getting KB4507450 (Build 15063.1928), the Anniversary Update is receiving KB4507460 (Build 14393.3085), and the original version is getting KB4507458 (Build 10240.18275). Windows 10 version 1511 (the November Update) received its last update on April 10, 2018.

  • Addresses an issue that may cause BitLocker to go into recovery mode if BitLocker is being provisioned at the same time as updates are being installed.
  • Addresses an issue that may cause Mixed Reality users to see a tilted world after connecting their headsets.
  • Addresses visual quality issues some users may have seen with Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) headsets and Steam®VR content.
  • Security updates to Windows Wireless Networking, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Server, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Kernel, Microsoft HoloLens, Internet Explorer, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Virtualization, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Edge, and Windows Cryptography.

Fixes that today's Windows 10 cumulative updates bring for the October 2018 Update

  • Addresses an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when an application uses the CameraCaptureUI API.
  • Addresses an issue that may cause BitLocker to go into recovery mode if BitLocker is being provisioned at the same time as updates are being installed.

For the May 2019 Update, there are 3 known issues that are yet to be addressed, including the previously reported RASMAN and Sandbox problems, and a Window-Eyes screen reader app problem.
