Titanfall 2 Details Allegedly Leaked; October 2016 Release, Larger Multiplayer Maps & New Pilot Abilities
A Titanfall 2 leak has surfaced online, claiming that Respawn’s Titanfall sequel will launch this October. Additionally, it is said that the game will feature larger multiplayer maps and new pilot abilities.
The leak was posted on Reddit by user ‘ilovegoogleglass’, who claims this his source is “in the known”. The content of the Reddit post has since been deleted, but Neogaf user piccio_ssl managed to post the content on the GAF forums nonetheless.
According to the Reddit user, Titanfall is scheduled for a release in October 2016 - the same month in which Battlefield 1 will be released.
I've been sitting on some Titanfall 2 information that was shared with me, and I've finally got the go ahead to post. Titanfall 2 will release in October and the Mountain dew leak is indeed legitimate. They've added a ton of new pilot abilities including the addition of a grappling hook. My source said you can use it quite extensively, for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they're midair. The pre-order bonus will be a handgun called the Violator. Multiplayer maps are bigger which I can assume they upped the player count to go along with them. The left side of this will be the box art.
It is said that Respawn and EA have added a lot of new abilities for the Titan pilots to use, one of them being the use of a grappling hook, which allegedly is used “quite extensively”. Furthermore, Titanfall 2 will feature larger multiplayer maps compared to the original Titanfall.
As always, take the information above with a pinch of salt as none of the details above have been confirmed by either Respawn or EA. Titanfall 2 will be uncovered in full on June 12 during EA’s own E3 event – EA Play.
