Star Wars Battlefront Latest PC Update Brings Back Frame Rate Issues For Heroes VS Villains Mode

Earlier today, a new Star Wars Battlefront update has been released on all formats, introducing a fix for an exploit and improving stability on the larger game modes. Unfortunately, it seems like the update also re-introduces issues to the PC version of the game which have been fixed by previous updates.

Several users on the Star Wars Battlefront subreddit confirmed that the frame rate issues that plagued Star Wars Battlefront on PC, specifically on the Heroes VS Villains mode, are back. With users with powerful machines reporting the same frame rate issues, there's no doubt that something is wrong in the recent released update. DICE has yet to comment on the matter, but we should learn something new about the matter very soon.

Star Wars Battlefront recently received the Death Star DLC pack as well as another update which introduced several tweaks and fixes aimed at improving the experience.

Players will experience five new maps – on ground and in space – new weapons and Star Cards and two new heroes, the fearsome bounty hunter Bossk and everyone’s favorite Wookiee, Chewbacca.

Board the Death Star and blast foes with the new K-16 Bryar Pistol or TL-50t Heavy Repeater. Take your Starfighters to space in an all-new game mode and even hop into the cockpits of Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced or Luke Skywalker’s Red Five X-Wing. If the Force is strong with you, attempt a trench run to take down the Empire’s ultimate weapon.

Star Wars Battlefront is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will let you know more about possible fixes for the current issues of the PC release as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
