Shadowrun Returns Deluxe Completely Free – Limited Time Only
So it's the silly season of summer once again. By that I mean the Steam Summer Sale is now on. This is a time that my bank usually phones me, shouting at me telling me that I still need money for
alcohol food. Fortunately, Humble Bundle are looking to come to the rescue with an even better offer than the deep discounts on Steam. This is an even deeper discount. The game is actually free!
The game in question is Shadowrun Returns Deluxe Edition. Released back in 2013, this hit by Harebrained Schemes (BATTLETECH, recently acquired by Paradox Interactive) features a futuristic world with magic, tech, trolls, elves and more. The world is being bled dry, as always in a dystopian setting, and you have the even greater misfortune of being in Seattle.
You'll develop and build your character in unique ways, explore a pretty compelling world and follow an interesting story that led onto other titles like Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong.
Needless to say, Shadowrun Returns is a good, strong title. The extra extra low price of absolutely free is also a great selling point, especially for the edition that contains the base game, anthology DLC and the soundtrack.
The Shadowrun Returns Deluxe product contains the following content:
- Shadowrun Returns base game
- Shadowrun Returns Anthology DLC
- Shadowrun Returns Soundtrack DLC
Shadowrun Returns Soundtrack
From the composers of the much-loved Shadowrun SEGA and SNES games, the Shadowrun Returns Soundtrack will pay homage to the classics but with a modern twist.
Shadowrun Returns Anthology
Explore the world of Shadowrun Returns even more with an illustrated PDF of short stories written for the game and edited by Jordan Weisman, the creator of Shadowrun.
This version is currently selling at 75% off in the Steam sale and has an very positive rating, 88% of reviewers on the platform enjoying the game. You can count me amongst them. All I can say is you'd be a fool not to pick it up.
The deal ends in 1 day, 7 hours at the time of writing. Saturday 23rd of June, 6pm GMT, 10am PT, 1pm ET.
