Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 Renders Leak Showing Front & Uninteresting Back
At MWC this month, we won’t see the Galaxy S8 from Samsung’s end. The Note 7’s fiasco has left the Korean tech giant red faced and eager to avoid future fiascos. Therefore, the S8 will undergo extensive testing to ensure that future disasters on Samsung’s flasgship lineup do not occur. That, however does not mean a no show by the company. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab S3 next month and the tablet’s built up quite a hype for itself. Today, we’ve got some more news on it. Take a look below to find out more.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Renders And Specifications Leak Showcasing Device From Several Angles
The Galaxy Tab lineup isn’t exactly high end. It’s focused more towards family use and cost effectiveness, rather than top end specifications. The Tab S2 featured simple design overhauls and specifications. Its successor, the Tab S3 will introduce similar specifications. Specifications of the gadget suggest a 9.6 AMOLED screen with 2048×1536 resolution and a 12MP rear camera.
Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 will power the device. It features the company’s in-house Kryo cores which marked its resurgence after the Snapdragon 810’s overheating fiasco. Today, we’ve got some renders of the Galaxy Tab S3. They show a rather simple device, as is expected from Samsung next month. The images are based on the company’s FCC filings and you can take a look at them below.
As you can see, the back of the Galaxy Tab S3 has a completely flat and uninteresting look. At the very top, there’s a tiny camera sensor and a flash. To be frank, Samsung really should have put more thought into design ratios. At the top quarter of the back, you also get the company’s logo while the necessary technical information is placed right at the bottom. Samsung could have made the logo bigger at least. Of course, since these aren’t actual images of the device, we’d advise against any concrete conclusions at this point.
The device will feature 32GB/128GB of native storage and 4GB of RAM, along the Snapdragon 820’s Adreno 530 GPU. The Adreno’s quite the powerhouse when it comes to graphics performance. An interesting rumored feature for the Tab S3 is a curved screen. Samsung will carry over its smartphone design onto its tablet this year, so the Tab S3 will look quite good, at least at its front.
