Current information suggests that the device will be priced in the range of $800-$1000. Today's leak also makes similar claims. According to a tipster, the Galaxy S8 will cost 6088 RMB. Translate this into US $ and you get a final tag of $885, which stands in line with previous leaks.

It's a Chinese price, so end results will vary. But, it falls in line with previous leaks and corroborates some rather undigested details. After all, not a lot of folks can afford a $800 device, even if you factor in carrier plans here in the US. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will live up to the mark of a premium device. It'll also place Samsung effectively in the ranks of manufacturers with outrageously priced devices, right alongside Apple.

All the fancy materials on the S8 will come at a cost. Samsung will equip the device with OLED screens, an iris scanner, no buttons at the front and other details.
