Its a pattern that we expect to continue until the smartphone’s launch, later this month. Samsung, in its classic fashion, will equip the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with a lot of features. With less than three weeks left to its launch, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is a popular device. There are few, if any details, left for the company to unveil at its event later this month. Samsung’s got a lot riding on its 2017 flagship smartphones. Not only is the company under a serious management crisis back home, its failure with the Galaxy Note 7 didn’t win it any fans either. In fact, the existing ones began to fear for their safety with the device, a sentiment also shared by airlines all around the world.

So, with the Galaxy S8, stakes are as high as they can get. And Samsung wants to deliver in its typical fashion. Equip the S lineup will all the top-tier specifications present on the planet for mobile devices. Button free front? Check. Iris scanning? Check. 10nm processors? Check. And now, six color options? Double check. A couple of days back, famed KGI analyst Ming Chi Kuo reported that the S8 and S8+ will launch in three color variants. Today, a second source posts similar details.

Samsung really wants to leave no stone unturned on the Galaxy S8 this year. These color options will add a more light look to the lineup. They’ll follow the direction set by Google’s Pixel lineup and blend in the serious specifications of a flagship smartphone with a more ‘funky’ side.

Other features for the Galaxy S8 include advanced software capabilities. The device will feature its very own virtual assistant, Bixby. This will mark a first for the lineup. Another first for the Galaxy S series will be Samsung’s desktop platform, Dex. It’ll allow users to use their smartphone hardware on larger displays and resemble Microsoft’s Continuum. Thoughts?
