Samsung disappointed with its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus unveiling, showing that the design of both phones remained congruent to the Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy S8 Plus while adding hardware upgrades such as better specifications and of course, the variable aperture feature.

In fact, the Galaxy S9 Plus was outsold by the iPhone 8 during the month of May, and it is possible that the upcoming Galaxy Note 9’s only saving grace is the multitude of functions that come with its S Pen. However, the future of Samsung phones might look a lot different and this is not just because of the inception of foldable handsets. A leakster has shared an image of what the future of Samsung devices might look like and with the pace at which manufacturers are going, it is not difficult to imagine a future like this.

The Korean giant has been employing the use of OLED screens on its smartphones for quite some time now and one of the strengths of these screens is that they are flexible, allowing manufacturers to alter the design of mobile phones readily.

We believe that the same thing could happen with future Samsung Galaxy smartphones, but it is highly unlikely that the Galaxy S10 is going to be touting this design. It can be believed that the device will come with a design that is similar to the NEX, but this massive change is something that we will be seeing in the far future.
