Apart from the beautiful RED Special Edition iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Apple has announced a PRODUCT(RED) iPhone X Leather Folio case too.
Apple's New PRODUCT(RED) iPhone X Leather Folio Costs $99, Will be Available Tomorrow in Stores
It's no secret that Apple has donated large sums to the Global Fund for fighting and researching HIV/AIDS. Today, its mission continues with the announcement of two new products to its lineup, whose partial proceeds go to the Global Fund when purchased. So, not only you end up with a 'special edition' product, but you help with a noble cause too.
We've already covered the new red iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, but Apple also announced something for iPhone X users. No, it's not a (RED) iPhone X by all means, instead, it's a PRODUCT(RED) Leather Folio for aforementioned device. It will be available tomorrow in stores or directly from Apple's very own website, and will set you back $99.
As you'd expect from an Apple Leather Folio case, this one's no different either and comes with all the bells and whistles including compartments for holding your cards and money. Basically, this is the same case Apple sells in other color options except that it comes in a new shade and of course, a fair amount of it goes to the Global Fund.
Apple also introduced a new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio, which will be available beginning tomorrow. Crafted from specially tanned and finished European leather for a luxurious look and feel, the new folio joins other (PRODUCT)RED devices and accessories available for customers to purchase. A portion of proceeds for all (PRODUCT)RED purchases go directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that provide testing, counseling, treatment and prevention programs with a specific focus on eliminating transmission of the virus from mothers to their babies. Since partnering with (RED) in 2006, Apple has donated more than $160 million to the Global Fund, serving as the organization’s largest corporate donor.
