Painkiller Developer Announces World War 3, F2P Unreal 4 Shooter
Team work will be a must, with the Deadfall Adventure devs promising innovative methods of interaction between players when it comes to strategic planning. They said that cooperation will be absolutely essential, although that probably won’t stop me attempting to one-man 360 no-scope my way through the entire Swiss army (who we assume will be heavily represented).
Vehicles will be included, and the developers are saying there will be an element of environmental risks, although details on that seem to be sparse at this point.
It’ll be free to play and is being powered by the Unreal Engine 4. While that doesn’t quite guarantee beautiful graphics, it’s at least a step in the right direction. Platforms haven’t been announced, so at this point presume PC.
How long will you have to wait for World War 3? The developers reckon it will take another two years of brewing, putting it somewhere in the space of late 2017, early 2018.
