OnePlus 7 To Feature A 5G Modem And Said To launch In H1Of 2019

The executive also mentioned that his team has already conducted tests for 5G at Qualcomm's headquarter back in August in San Diego. If the OnePlus smartphone release frames are anything to go by, we will possibly see OnePlus 7 with 5G capabilities in the first half of 2019.

Earlier, Qualcomm chief Amon teased that the first device to feature 5G modem will incorporate the new Snapdragon X50 and it will be available in the first half of the upcoming year. This does give us a rough estimate on when the device will be available in the following year.

At this point in time, details on the OnePlus 7 are quite scarce. In fact, the 5G capabilities in the smartphone is one of the very few things that we actually do know are coming.
