The OnePlus 6 Is Unboxed By Alleged Leaker; 9 Images Show Several Details But Miss Out On Some As Well
When we consider the number of leaks related to smartphones that have taken place over the course of 2018’s first half, the OnePlus 6 takes the top spot. Leaks for the smartphone are common and OnePlus itself also shares details frequently for it. Right now the OnePlus 6 looks ready to provide strict competition to nearly every Android flagship out there; in terms of raw performance power at least. To top things up, an alleged retail box for the smartphone has surfaced. Take a look below for the details.
Alleged Retail Box Leak For The OnePlus 6 Shows No Changes Over Its Predecessor Except For A Slightly Wider Build
Rumors suggest that OnePlus is eager to give top-tier Android smartphone manufacturers a good run for their money. While the company’s previous high-end devices offered a good blend of specifications, design, and price, they often skipped out on additional features such as stringent water/dust proofing and heart rate sensing.
This year, OnePlus will finally make up for this. Not only will the OnePlus 6 feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 with a stunning 8GB RAM for high-end variants, the device will also come with waterproofing and a heart rate sensor; if our interpretation of OnePlus’ teasers is correct.
Additionally, the OnePlus 6 will also feature a glass back and a stacked rear dual camera setup which will depart from the company’s previous approach. Finally, the company will also relocate the alert slider to the right on its latest device.
Today we’ve got 9 unboxing images for the OnePlus 6 that give a good overall look for the device’s first experience. Taking a look at the first image suggests that while OnePlus is eager to make big changes on the device, its retail box will remain unchanged over the course of the year. We’ve got the same white background at the top with OnePlus’ logo visible in red.
Additionally, the cardboard tray for the OnePlus 6 is also visible, that displays a different approach this year. While we’re not sure whether this will turn out as accurate, it looks like that the OnePlus 6 might be housed in a separate box inside the main retail package. This is highly doubtful since it will serve no practical purpose.
Apart from this confusion, other details for the OnePlus 6‘s packaging appear spot-on, if we assume that the company will follow past trends. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned. We’ll keep you updated on the latest.
