OnePlus 3 Live Images Leaked: Not Much Different From OnePlus 2
The leaked images of OnePlus 3 have sprouted up prior to the release of one of the most hyped phones of 2016. Let us see what sort of detail the company’s design team has focused on this time.
OnePlus 3 Looks To Be Featuring A Metallic Unibody Design With Several Similarities To OnePlus 2
Apart from sporting what looks to be a metallic unibody design, there are several similarities between OnePlus 3 and its predecessor, starting with the home button. Personally, the physical home button provides a nice tactile feel to the user and since this is an improved iteration of the smartphone, we expect that a fingerprint sensor is going to be integrated into the home button. The last time a fingerprint sensor was incorporated into the home button of the device, it was fast, but could it have been faster to match the speeds of its competitors?
Absolutely, so we are hoping to see that the speed at which OnePlus 3 gets unlocked is at par with when you place your finger on a Nexus 6P (just be reminded that those fingerprint sensors are lightning fast). OnePlus 3 will be armed with a Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM as the base model and it has been said that OnePlus is working on its own Dash Charge technology to rapidly speed up the charging process. Looking at the specifications of the upcoming flagship phone, it will not take long for the device’s battery to be depleted. After all, having 6GB of RAM for the highest configured model does not exactly make things easy.
In addition, looks like NFC is going to be part of the makeup, and to refresh your knowledge, it was present in OnePlus One, but not OnePlus 2. There is a possibility that the upcoming handset will feature a 16MP rear shooter with a wide aperture. There is also a very high probability that rear camera lens will be wider than the value of the aperture of OnePlus 2’s lens, which stood at F/2.0. No doubt, the powerful camera sensor should also provide some great features such as in-depth camera control, 4K video recording as well as slow-mo video editing features.
Ever since the grand unveiling of OnePlus One, the phone had everything you wanted from a price/performance handset marvel, except for one of the most crucial features needed in an Android powered handset, a MicroSD card slot. With the official announcement of OnePlus 3 expected to kick off on June 14, we finally expect a premium device to be delivered to the masses with top-notch hardware, and become a thorn in the path of the extremely affordable ZUK Z2.
