For writers interested in applying for gadgets, wearables and mobile technology niches, please note that we will differentiate between mobile hardware and software niches. For mobile and gadget hardware niche, we need writers with an understanding of the industry, the future of mobile/gadget hardware specially in terms of CPU, GPU, SoC innovations and hardware specific, software innovations such as Metal.
For mobile software niche, we need people with an understanding of iOS, Android and Windows Phone. You should be able to report on newest Android ROM releases, iOS updates, jailbreaks, tweaks and hacks involving widely used mobile operating systems.

For general technology reporting, we are looking people who can pen op-eds and explain general science and technology trends. These articles will need to be very well-researched and coherent, so any earlier experience in the field will be deemed important. These articles can include the latest from Snowden leaks, hackers getting hold of consumer financial data, TOR getting probed for vulnerabilities by researchers, new Windows OS, Yosemite and the future of Mac OS.
Please note that preference will be given to candidates that have both a financial background (whether through experience or academically) as well as a working knowledge of the technology and gaming sector. We are ideally looking for candidates that are tech and gaming enthusiasts but are primarily finance people. However, we have a very flexible hiring policy so if you think you have what it takes and can demonstrate it to us, we welcome you to apply!
