With iPhone X pre-orders live, chances are that a lot of you will want to get their hands on the latest and greatest flagship from Apple. However, with waiting times reaching between 5-6 weeks, you will need more than sheer luck in order for you to get hands on one. However, popular online retailer Best Buy is still taking pre-orders for the iPhone X with the only catch is that you will have to pay a higher price to secure your purchase.

$100 iPhone X Pre-Order Premium Is Only Applied When You Opt to Pay Full Price for Flagship

Assuming you have $1,099 in cash to spare for the iPhone X, that is what Best Buy is charging you to secure your pre-order. Now, you can always choose to pre-order the flagship from Apple’s website but that will mean receiving one in a waiting time frame that can go as high as 6 weeks.

However, if you’re willing to possibly get it earlier, Best Buy can do that for you but they will be charging you a $100 premium to make your dreams come true. According to CNET, the online retailer has provided a statement as to why something like this is being carried out.

“Sometimes customers aren’t able to purchase phones at other locations because their desired plan or carrier makes them ineligible. That’s not the case at Best Buy, as our prices reflect the fact that no matter their desired plan or carrier, or whether a customer is on a business or personal plan, they are able to get a phone the way they want at Best Buy. Flexibility has a cost, but it’s something our customers have told us they want.”

If you choose to pay from time to time, you will be paying equal to what Apple is charging you from its website.
