iPhone 7 Case Leak Comparison – What Differences Could We Be Seeing?
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 might sport the same screen size as its predecessor, but its overall aesthetics are definitely going to be different, as explained in the latest case leak comparison. Needless to say, there are definitely going to be a vast number of differences which you will see shortly.
iPhone 7 Case Shows Space For Two Camera Lens And Of Course Removal Of The 3.5mm Headphone Jack
Lou from Unbox Therapy received an iPhone 7 case, after which the first thing he decided to do was to compare it with the previous handsets belonging to Apple, which was the very first thing that we would have done. Without wasting anymore time, Lou quickly jumped onto the fact that there is an unusually large cutout for the rear camera. This gives rise to several speculations, but we all know that majority of you are thinking that the upcoming device will have two additional lenses for improved photography.
If you take a look at the video at the top, it is a proposed software of the dual camera interface for the upcoming iPhone. We are not certain about the total megapixel count of the upcoming iPhone, so we will stick to our gut and believe that the sensor will retain the same number of megapixels (12.3MP) as the current generation iPhones, but will add more features courtesy of the updated software from Apple. Unfortunately, details are hazy at best, and we are confident that more information will be made available to us as soon as we move closer and closer to Apple’s upcoming event, which is going to take place during the month of September.
Coming back to the details of the case, Lou tried to place a 3.5mm connector with the case wrapped around an iPhone 6s. Not surprisingly, the connector kept on coming off, indicating that Apple is actually serious about getting rid of this old feature. Instead, it is implied that the 3.5mm headphone jack is going to be replaced with Bluetooth enabled earphones or those that possess a lightning connector. This is not the first time that such a leak has been seen.

We also stated in a previous leak that there is absence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack cutout, which brings us back to the old rumor, is Apple really serious about omitting the crucial feature from the smartphone. The feature has been present for a very long time and if Apple replaces it with a Bluetooth or Lightning port based headphones, it will allow the tech giant to further reduce the overall thickness of iPhone 7.
Whatever Apple could be planning, we are definitely going to be in for a treat during the month of September.
