It has been reported by BGR that the HTC Droid Incredible will be getting a software update to Android 2.2 by the end of July or at the start of the next month (August). It was recently planned to get a minor update which would have brought 720p video recording to the Smartphone but the recent reports reveal a bigger Android 2.2 software update.
The Android 2.2 Froyo update to the Droid Incredible is said to bring:

It sure looks like a big update coming for the HTC Droid Incredible, However it does seem sort of soon to have Android 2.2 ported and ready for a HTC Sense device so we'll have to wait about what's the truth.
