How to Watch the Google I/O 2018 Keynote – Livesteam, Start Time & More Details Present

Google’s annual developer’s conference, called the Google I/O, will begin on Tuesday, May 8. The three-day conference will attract tech enthusiasts and media from around the world. Google I/O stands for ‘innovation in the open’ and provides a platform for developers from around the world to gather together for hands-on learning, technical talks, and a sneak peek at Google’s developer’s products.

This year, we can expect to learn more about Google Lens, Android P, Chrome, Google Home, Android Wear, and possibly a few surprises. The conference will conclude on Thursday and it will kick off with a keynote from CEO Sundar Pichai on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

During the conference, Google will probably get an opportunity to demonstrate how it is ahead of its rivals such as Facebook, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft in the field of software. This year it is believed that the focus will be on AI. Computer vision, voice control, and machine learning have become some of Google’s priorities lately. The company has also made special chips to fuel cloud-based artificial intelligence services. We will get to know about all this in detail during the keynote.

Apart from AI, there will be a special focus on Android P too. We will probably see a new version of Android P, which was released as a developer preview in March. Apart from that, we can also expect to see more smart home products from Google at the conference.

The tech giant may also showcase new AR/VR products, such as a new Daydream VR headset that has not been launched yet. This will also be the first Google I/O conference at which the company’s framework for mobile AR would be a finished product and not confined to Tango.

The conference will be held at Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, California, United States and if you want to be part of the action, you can click on the video below to be a part of the livestream.
