How to Root Verizon Galaxy S4 with VRUAME7!

The newest update VRUAME7, dropped on July 9, for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 patched up the previous root and bypass exploits. While many were disgruntled by the update, the XDA members DooMLoRD and PWM978, with the help of others, have shared a method to root your Galaxy S4 to VRUAME7.

This solution requires you to use a microSD card, a terminal emulator app on your smartphone, and a couple of files to root your Galaxy S4. This method also doesn't wipe the smart phone, so all good so far!

Required files: download and install the Android Terminal Emulator app on your SGS4. Also, download and install Samsung USB driver from here. Finally download and extract the root exploit package on your computer from here.

Ahhsome! We hope that your Samsung Galaxy S4 is now fully rooted on the stock VRUAME7 build. Do not update your S4 via OTA to avoid losing this root.
