Christian Ney of Ocaholic has set a new memory oc record by overclocking G.Skill's Trident X module to 3900 MHz (1950.3 MHz actual).

G.Skill New Memory OC Record

The memory overclock was achieved with the help of G.Skill 4 GB Trident 2666-C11 kit which at stock runs at 2666 MHz. System specs included an AMD A8-3870K APU, Gigabyte A75-UD4H motherboard and a custom LN2 pot built by K|ngp|n Cooling.

The specific memory module was cherry picked from several other kits with this one being the only able to break the previous memory oc record set by HiCookie on an Intel system. The timings set with the 3900 MHz clock were   14-14-14-36 and you can find the respective CPUID and HWBOT validations here, and here. You can find our review of the G.Skill Trident X memory here.
