Gran Turismo Sport may not be a main entry of the Gran Turismo series, but fans of the series are still eagerly anticipating it. Unfortunately details on the game are scarce at the moment, but something new about the game has emerged online a few hours ago.

A few hours ago a new low quality Gran Turismo Sport image taken from a recent Tokyo Auto Salon livestream has surfaced on the NeoGAF forums. The image’s quality is so low due to the quality of the stream itself so it seems like a higher quality version of the image won’t be surfacing online. You can check out the image right below.

On a related note, some time ago, it was revealed that a new Gran Turismo Sport trailer was going to be shown during this event. Unfortunately the shown trailer wasn’t new at all, as it’s been confirmed it was the same trailer that has been shared a few weeks ago.

Gran Turismo Sport has been revealed a few weeks ago during the Paris Games Week, with Sony showing an announcement trailer. Since the Paris Games Week not much has been said about the game, unfortunately, so fans of the GT series still don’t know how this new game will be different from the rest of the main Gran Turismo games.

In addition to everything you’d expect from a GT, the team at Polyphony and the FIA are introducing an online racing series that will be recognized alongside real world motor racing by the FIA.

That Gran Turismo SPORT will feature highly evolved graphics and sound quality, not to mention a totally revamped physics engine, should come as no surprise. The true beauty of Gran Turismo SPORT goes much deeper, as it will forever change the way driving games are seen. It will redefine the very definition of “gaming” and “motorsports.”

Gran Turismo Sport will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date on PlayStation 4.
