We've got only two weeks until Google launches the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The smartphones don't feature actively on the rumor mill, so we've got to do with a limited amount of information. Or maybe the iPhone X and Samsung's Galaxy Note/S lineup have spoiled all of us. Gone are the days when hype was the only thing freely available prior to a smartphone launch. Looks like Apple's got a couple of things to learn from Google, especially when it comes to leaky pipes. That being said, today we've got some alleged information for the Google Pixel 2. Take a look below to find out more.
Alleged Google Pixel 2 Leak Highlights Three Colors, Pricing And Storage Details For Smartphone
This year, the rumor mill's been very, very active. We've seen it spoil not one, but two major flagship launches. Out of these, it's Apple that's 'suffered' the most. Nearly every feature, including groundbreaking FaceID for the iPhone X surfaced in the rumor mill prior to the smartphone's launch. When we compare this with the amount of information available for the Pixel 2 lineup, there's no other option left except coming up shorthanded.
However, that doesn't mean no critical details haven't surfaced for the smartphone lineup. One big question on everyone's mind is about the Snapdragon 836. Last year, Qualcomm surprised everyone when the Google Pixel and Pixel XL became the year's only devices to feature an upgraded Snapdragon 820 - dubbed as the Snapdragon 821. This year similar rumors w.r.t the Snapdragon 835 surfaced early on. But, as time elapsed, sources made a u-turn, claiming that the Pixel 2 lineup will not feature a 835 upgrade.
Today, we've got some fresh design, pricing and storage details for the smaller Pixel 2. We're not sure about the authenticity of their source, and honestly, these details can easily be speculated as well. Still, there's always a chance of information turning out authentic, as witnessed in the past. Today's information suggests that the Google Pixel 2 will available in three colors which are, Kinda Blue, Just Black and Clearly White.
The device will be available in storage options of 64GB and 128GB. Price tags for these will be $649 and $749 respectively. Alleged financing options will allow you to cough up $27.04/month for the 64GB and $31.21/month for the 128GB variant, over the course of 24 months. Thoughts?
