Do not be surprised to hear that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are not going to be making an appearance at the upcoming CES 2018 trade show. Fortunately, Samsung is not going to keep you disappointed because these devices are going to be unveiled very shortly after if a new leak is to be believed that is.

Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Announcement Slated for February 27, According to Latest Leak

Samsung has notably been present at the MWC trade show alongside manufacturers like Sony, LG, and others and according to The Bell, the company is expected to be unveiling its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 27. Now keep in mind that the CES 2018 trade show is going to start from January, and MWC 2018 will start from the last week of February so there is not a whole lot of differences in between the two trade shows.

Samsung did not make an appearance at this year’s MWC 2017 event, but we suspect that the devices are going to be showcased in 2018. This time, we could actually see some real benefits for users planning on upgrading to the Galaxy S9+ instead of the smaller Galaxy S9.

In addition to the larger screen real estate, the bigger flagship brother is expected to feature a much bigger-sized battery as well as a dual-camera upgrade. The resolution of both phones is said to be the same, but with the larger handset featuring potentially better hardware, customers might want to pick this one up instead.
