The imminent release of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will provide some foreshadowing related to the design of the Galaxy Note 9 but that does not mean that several concepts are not able to provide their own inspirations of what the upcoming phablet might look like.

This latest Galaxy Note 9 concept highlights some key things of what the future of the smartphone industry might look like, even though there are some things that we feel might be changed about the final product when comparing this concept.

Latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Concept Does Not Reveal a Fingerprint Sensor at the Back – Final Product Could Get One Embedded Beneath the Display

Aside from the sides of the display melting towards the edges of this Galaxy Note 9 concept, another thing that we notice about the phone is that there is no fingerprint reader in sight. It is possible that the artist forgot to add this little, but very important implementation, or maybe because this was purposely intended to that viewers can immediately believe that the Galaxy Note 9 concept sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Synpatics announced this important hardware change for future phones and potential premium tablets, and we strongly feel that the Galaxy Note 9 is going to be the first flagship from the South Korean tech giant to get this change. As for the rest of the specifications, we’d like to point out one thing that differs from this concept.

Looking at the Galaxy S9+, we do not believe that the Galaxy Note 9 will have a horizontal dual-camera orientation. It will instead feature a vertical dual-camera with a wider aperture and more options for power users. The screen size could be retained at 6.3 inches, but this time we are hoping for a bigger battery.
