Final Fantasy XV, the latest entry of the long running series by Square Enix, is finally getting released in less than a month on PC and consoles, and the publisher took advantage of the recent Paris Games Show 2016 to confirm that the game has gone gold and show more gameplay taken from the final release. Lucky players who have attended the event have also recorded videos that allow those unable to attend to see how far the game has gone these past few months.
A few hours ago, a new Final Fantasy XV offscreen gameplay video has emerged online, showcasing the full Midgarzolom fight. While the video's quality is not the best, it's still a very good watch for a couple of reasons, as it showcases some impressive animations for the giant serpent monster that fans of Final Fantasy VII should know well. The player is also more than competent, so the video also serves as a good combat system showcase.
Last week, Square Enix also revealed more regarding the Final Fantasy XV DLC packs included in the Season Pass. Players not only will be able to enjoy additional story segments focused on Noctis' comrades, but also enjoy a brand new multiplayer co-op mode.
Following the release of the character episodes, Comrades—an expansion pack for FINAL FANTASY XV—will introduce a brand-new online co-op mode for up to four players which features intense battles allowing players to take full control of Noctis, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis as a group. Comrades will be available for separate purchase, and is also included in the Season Pass.
Final Fantasy XV launches on November 29th in all regions on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
