Apple Released its Clips App on the App Store - Download it Today
The day Apple announced its brand new 2017 iPad alongside the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the company also revealed a brand new app for iOS users. Called Clips, the app allows anyone to create fun little videos with wonderful looking animated titles. But at the time of its announcement, Apple revealed a few details while keeping the exact release date obscure. Now though, the big day has arrived and Apple's latest software is available for anyone to consume.
Interestingly, the Clips app allows you to create videos in the square format, which makes it perfect for sharing on places like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. But what's even more cool is the fact that you can combine 30 minutes of video together to form an hour long clip which you can then export in 1080p, and of course, share it with people.
Clips is a new app for making fun videos to share with friends, family and the world. With a few taps, you can create and send a video message or tell a quick story with animated text, graphics and emoji, music and more.
Different reviews on the Web suggest that the app is fun to use but the UI needs some work getting used to. Quite frankly, for me, a bad UI is something that can put me off something new instantly. But hey, if you always wanted something like this, then there's high chance you will figure everything out in the quickest manner possible. And since it records video in the square format, it might not bode well with everyone. A toggle switch to flint between square and wide videos would have been nice here. But I guess that 'feature' is never meant to be, or meant for some other time.
The app is absolutely free to download and use and you can initiate the download on your iPhone or iPad immediately by tapping on the link below. It works on both iPhone and iPad therefore you do not have to worry about scaling or anything else. Last but not the least, make sure your iPhone or iPad has iOS 10.3 installed on it otherwise the app will just not work. It's a strict requirement put in place by Apple.
