Being one of the more anticipated games launching in the next few months, it's not surprising to see Dark Souls 3 fans trying to learn everything they possibly can before release. A few hours ago, something new on the game has emerged online.
The Dark Souls 3 soundtrack CD has revealed the names of some of the bosses players will have to fight and defeat during the course of the game. We have already seen some of these bosses in action, like the Dancer of the Frigid Valley, while others have never been mentioned before. As the list includes some light spoilers, we suggest you avoid reading it in full if you want the game to be a complete surprise for you when it launches in April.
Volde, of the Frigid Valley
Curse-Rotted (Ridden?) Greatwood (seen in trailer)
Dragons of the Deep
Dancer of the Frigid Valley (seen in the network test)
Old Demon King
Ozroes(?), the Condemned King
Yhorm, the Giant
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
Lothric Elder Prince, Lothric Younger Prince
Soul of Cinder
Additional details on the Dark Souls 3 soundtrack CD have also been shared a few hours ago by reddit user djplotfellow. According to this user, the soundtrack includes 24 tracks, of which at least 5 are non-boss tracks.
24 tracks on the soundtrack. The first 4 are non-bosses, so the boss track list starts with #5. #24 is "Epilogue," so another non-boss track. I'm curious about #23, which appears to read "Secret _____." Might be a hidden final boss? Or, like Ash Lake / early Yahar'Gul tracks, just background music for an area.
Either way, that leaves 18-19 unique presumed boss tracks. Some of those might be reused for different bosses as From has usually done, some of them might be for levels with background music.
Dark Souls 3 will launch next month on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan. The game will hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the West on April 12th.
