Castlevania Spiritual Successor Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night New Gameplay Footage Showcased In New Video, Publisher Revealed

Things seem to be going rather well for Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night, the Castlevania spiritual successor currently in development by series creator Koji Igarashi and his team, despite the game having been recently delayed to the first half of 2018. In a new video shared today, Iga himself revealed a new partnership that will definitely do good to the upcoming game.

In this new Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night, Koji Igarashi revealed that the game has been picked up by 505 Games, which will publish it once it's ready. The video also includes some gameplay footage that has never been shown before.

We've got news! And we wanted to get this to you as soon as possible, so we're breaking into our usual update schedule to report that:

A publisher has signed onto the Bloodstained project: We'll be working with 505 Games. They put together a video with IGA to make the announcement (and also show off some new footage of the game).

As already mentioned, last month it's been confirmed that Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night will not release in 2017, as originally scheduled, but in the first half of 2017. The team required additional development time to make sure the game meets Iga's quality standards.

We’ve got an important development update from IGA this week, and we wanted to make sure the backers were the first to hear it. In short: To ensure the game meets his quality standards, IGA is bringing on additional developers and has moved his estimate for the game’s release back to the first half of 2018.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night will launch in the first half of 2018 on PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One and Wii U.
