Fabulous Kids App CHOMP Is Apple's Free App Of The Week

Even though the app is not a game, it is oriented towards kids. The free app features "funny video stories for kids" with hand drawn animations. However, these animations are not any other cartoons centered around a specific story, the developer has added something that will hook kids for good. The app comes alive with the addition of a feature that allows users to add their own faces into the illustrations.

So kids will see their own faces on the animations, which will allow them to bring the story to life. The app would have been any other video playing platform if the developer had not added this feature. Adding photos of kids would make them more immersed in the story line. As great as it sounds, this is not the only feature that's available for your playful kid.

‘CHOMP’ combines playful, humorous, and lovingly hand-drawn animations with live video, enabling children and adults alike to slip into a variety of comical roles. From a virtuous pianist, to a spaghetti-slurping dog, or a living cuckoo-clock, anything is possible!

You will also be able to add sounds and music in the animations. So if you have any recorded sound or music in your iPhone or iPad, you can add them to the animations to redirect the story as per your needs. Any sound or music can be added and the creativity options are endless for your kid to play with. Check out the video below for more details.

There are innumerable funny animations with over 50 hand drawn scenes that would allow kids to learn and play in a new way. Since the app is designed mainly for kids, the layout of the app is kept sleek and simple. This will allow your kid to navigate the core controls with ease. The illustrations are designed in a neat and beautiful manner and parents can use the camera option on the bottom left side to record videos. The microphone icon displayed on the screen allows users to record audio.

CHOMP is a fantastic app for your kids and it can be used in a way to enhance their learning. As we have mentioned before, the app is available as Apple's free app of the week, so if you're interested, head to the iOS App Store and install your share. This is it for now, folks.
