If you ever dreamed of being able to make a decent living from video games, well, now’s your chance. Apparently the 2015 WoW Arena World Championship that’s going to take place at BlizzCon 2015 has a prize pool of $250,000.

Big money to be made, $250,000 worth, at the 2015 WoW Arena World Championship at BlizzCon 2015 in Anaheim, CA.

I’ve always known that there were ways to make money playing in video game competitions. It’s clearly an area that’s seen a lot of growth over the past few years, but I never quite realized that one could be in the running for nearly this much real-world loot. It almost seems, well, insane.

If you’re a World of Warcraft Arena competitor, now’s the time to polish up your rotation and gather your group so you too can compete for a chance to secure a spot in the big battle—and win your share of an epic prize pool of $250,000 USD.

But these competitions are a very big deal that attract a wide audience to them. People love it, and as long as people continue to be both entertained by watching and by playing, then competitions of this sort, that are worth this hefty amount, will continue to show up.

If you enjoy a good 3v3 PVP within the realm of World of Warcraft, then it’s time to start preparing the mind for battle. Regional qualifiers leading up to this WoW Arena World Championship haven’t been scheduled quite yet, but details will be released shortly.
