World of Warcraft: Cataclysm release date finally confirmed

The long awaited release date of Blizzards long awaited expansion is finally at hand, with the Lich King released back in 2008 it’s about time Blizzard threw something new into the mix. This is going to be THE most epic expansion pack for one reason Flying Mounts allowed in Azeroth!! along with many new features such as more raids and dungeons as well as revamping the current ones, and even two new races are added to the game. For the Alliance you get the Werewolves known as the “Worgen” while the Horde will get the “Goblins” (although I really wanted Worgen on Horde side).

The Expansion pack has been in long speculation but Blizzard DID confirm a 2010 release date and unlike Starcraft II and Diablo 3 they are actually planning on keeping this promise, the game is set for a December 7th 2010 release. Patch 4.0.1 will release this month and it will bring many changes to the game which should be in Cataclysm, so in short your getting an early taste of the game in the form of whats going to be a really BIG patch.

As a huge WoW fan I for one can not WAIT to get my copy of the game and activate it. Lich King was good and all but not as epic as freaking flying mounts in Azeroth now is it?
