The Witcher 3 Xbox One Patch 1.03 Coming Tomorrow; PS4 Getting Bigger Subtitles and More in Next Patch
The Xbox One version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, still hasn’t received patch 1.03, while the PS4 version got it between Tuesday and yesterday, while the PC version is already on 1.04.
Community Coordinator Marcin Momot mentioned in the Witcher 3 official forums that will be available shortly and will feature a 30 FPS cap as the PS4 version, as well as a fix to the bug that causes loss of save games.
“The 1.03 patch on Xbox One will feature both, the FPS lock on 30 and will remove the save problem. We are hoping it will go live by Friday.”
For the PS4 version the next patch (1.04) will include a bigger font for subtitles alongside many quest fixes. Whether the same changes will carry over to the Xbox One version, was not specified.
“The next patch (1.04) should contain fixes to the quest bugs you guys have been reporting and an increased subtitle size.”
As we have previously covered users experiencing error ce-34878-0 on PS4, completing the quest “The Mystery of the Byways Murders” will eliminate the error. The next patch will resolve the issue permanently.
“Yes. By completing this quest you will get rid of the error. This is a temporary workaround and it will be permanently fixed in the upcoming patch.”
Regarding the issue causing microstutters on the PS4 and PC, while riding at walking speed, Momot mentions that is being worked on.
“The stutter issue is also on our radars. Working on it. Thanks for reporting everything. We do what we can do get rid of all the bugs but it takes some time. Thank you for your patience!”
