Apple Watch and Apple TV 4 Developers Can Now Test Out New Beta Software from Apple

It appears as though today is the day Apple had decided to unleash new software for every developer out there. A while back, we reported that Apple had released iOS 10.3 Beta 3 to registered developers, and now we are seeing watchOS 3.2 Beta 3 and tvOS 10.2 Beta 3 being released as well. Both of the aforementioned software is available to download over the air if you have a previous beta installed on your device.

Starting with tvOS 10.2 Beta 3, you can fire things up by turning on your Apple TV 4. Once up and running, head over to Settings > System and Software Updates. Install all the updates that are available there. The entire process won’t take more than 10 minutes given you have a decent enough Internet connection at hand. If you are installing tvOS 10.2 Beta from scratch then you can find all the bits from the Apple Developer Program website.

watchOS 3.2 Beta 3 users are required to place their Apple Watch on its magnetic charger first before anything can happen at all. Once placed, navigate to Watch > General > Software Update on your iPhone. After a few seconds, the update will become available, ready to be downloaded. Just tap on Download and Install to kick things off.

If you have either beta update installed on your device, it’s highly recommended that you go ahead and update to beta 3 of the software right away. They are loaded with bug fixes and performance enhancements that are bound to make things crispy during day to day usage.

Non-developers will be sad to learn that the above mentioned updates are not available to download for public beta testing. You must be in possession of an Apple Developer Program membership in order to get started. However, iOS 10.3 beta and macOS 10.12.3 can be accessed and tested out using Apple’s Beta Software Program. Head over to beta.apple.com for more details on the matter.

There is a possibility Apple might have thrown in a new feature or two with the above updates. If it has, we will highlight them right here. Stay tuned for more.

Update: macOS 10.12.4 Beta 3 is also available to download now. You can grab the update from the Mac App Store under the Updates tab.
