VLC Media Player has now arrived on iPhone and iPod touch, Available for Download.

VideoLAN’s VLC Media Player is a well-known media player on the desktop which can virtually play and file format there is and that too with ease. The VLC player first arrived on the iOS in the form Applidium’s VLC Media Player for iPad and now it has arrived on the iPhone and iPod touch too.

The new player is available for download and can play a variety of video file formats which do include DivX and XviD.

VLC is a free and open source multimedia player. It reads almost every video file, yet it’s very powerful and simple to use

After installing the VLC player , You can transfer he desired video files to VLC by connecting your iOS device, clicking on its icon in iTunes. Go to apps and scroll down to file sharing, Click on VLC and transfer the files you want. he VLC player can be downloaded from here.
