Last year, Verizon launched the Droid X which is their one of the best selling phones. Now they are looking forward to launch the successor of it, which will be known as Droid X2. We saw first leaked screenshot of it a few days ago, and actually there is no difference between designs of both Droid X and X2, only some difference between button placements, but there are some changes under the hood. Our friends over at Droid Life got their hands on some promo images of Droid X2 which is saying that Verizon will be launching it in stores on May 26th, and it will be available for pre-order on May 19th.

As I said there are some changes in hardware. The device comes with a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 4.3 inch qHD display, 8 MP camera and 1080p HDMI-out video. Well, Droid X2 is still missing some important stuff. It’s missing LTE and front-facing camera, which is actually a big drawback. It’s reported that it will come with Gingerbread, so let’s wait for Verizon and Motorola to come out and clear the air.

Well friends, are you looking forward to get Droid X2 or you are happy with Droid X?
