[Update] Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will release in Europe on the same day as North America, May 17th.

[Original Story] Around a month ago, SEGA confirmed that Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, the PlayStation 4 version of the successful role playing game originally released on PlayStation 3, is going to be released this Spring in North America and Europe. A precise release date hasn’t been confirmed at the time, but earlier today the Japanese publisher has confirmed precisely when North American players will be able to enjoy the game.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will be released in North America on May 17th. The European release date has yet to be confirmed, but it shouldn’t be too far from the North American one. We’ll update the post as soon as SEGA reveals more on the matter.

A new Valkyria Chronicles Remastered trailer has also been made available today. The new trailer, which can be watched right below, focuses on the battle system, making it a very good watch for those who have never seen Valkyria Chronicles and its unique battle system in action.

Last month the Valkyria Chronicles Remastered English Trophy List has emerged online, revealing all that players will have to do to master the game and obtain the Platinum Trophy. The original PlayStation 3 version has been released without Trophies, so the Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Trophies will be completely new even for those who completed the original release.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered launches in North America on May 17th, with the European release still scheduled for a generic Spring 2016 release date. More on the European release date will be coming soon and we’ll let you know more about the matter as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on SEGA’s upcoming role playing game.
