Having announced one update to Pokemon GO already, Niantic also revealed how it aims to make Gym training really, really easy.

Niantic Wants to Make Gym Training Easy with Upcoming Pokemon GO Update

Here is what Niantic has to say about the upcoming update to Pokemon GO:

As we continue to make improvements to Pokémon GO, we have made an enhancement to the Gym experience for Trainers of all levels. In an upcoming version of Pokémon GO, when training at a friendly Gym, Trainers will be able to bring six Pokémon to battle instead of one. In addition, the CP of the Pokémon you are training against may be temporarily adjusted lower during your training session to generally match your Pokémon’s battle capabilities.

No matter what your level, you can now have an impact on your team’s Gym. Walk with your Buddy Pokémon to that nearby landmark and show your Team Leader that you can battle with the best!

If you are playing Pokemon GO in its current state, you know you cannot take more than one Pokemon to the Gym with you for training. But with the new update, you will be able to take with you up to six Pokemon with you. Furthermore, Niantic goes on to state the Pokemon you’re training against will see its CP slightly lowered so that it matches the battle capabilities of your Pokemon. A nice little touch we must say, as it will encourage players to hop into the Gym more often and leave disappointed far less than before.

We have absolutely no clue when the new Pokemon GO update will arrive. But given how quick Niantic is in terms of updates, we should expect the new release to arrive within a couple of weeks.

Wrap Up

Pokemon GO is slowly going into decline as the hype is dying down over time. But thankfully, Niantic is working round the clock to ensure players are hooked at all times. But will the company succeed in bringing back the flare it saw during the game’s launch? Maybe it will. But of course, the results remain to be seen as a lot of stuff is being worked on in the pipeline.
