UMi iRon Pro Leaked To Feature Killer Hardware On Top Of Its Amazing Security
According to our previously published report, we stated that UMi iRon Pro was going to be the first ever smartphone to sport a multitude of security features ranging from a fingerprint scanner (present at the rear side), an iris scanner, and of course, a voice recognition function. However, all of these security features would look really nice on a device that has been incorporated with impressive hardware, and thanks to the latest leak, UMi iRon Pro is expected to deliver as performance as much as it expected to deliver ‘top notch’ security.
UMi iRon Pro Leaked To Feature MediaTek’s Helio X10 Along With Other Impressive Features
Now, Helio X10 might not be as powerful as chipsets like Snapdragon 810, Snapdragon 805 and of course Samsung’s flagship SoC, Exynos 7420, but it is still able to deliver astounding levels of performance despite being manufactured on the 28nm node. This will result in less costs incurred which in turn will also reduce the overall costs of the smartphone. While the leaked image (given below) shows that the upcoming smartphone is going to be running a Helio X10, the source has not stated the clock speed of the processor.
From all the smartphones we have seen until now, all of them running a Helio X10 featured an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at different frequencies, so it is unclear which speeds the CPU will be running in UMi iRon Pro. Another great thing about the device is that it will have 3GB of RAM, which will definitely give you additional freedom when you want to open up a multitude of applications or run graphically intensive games that use up a lot of your smartphone’s system resources.
UMi iRon Pro is also going in the footsteps of Apple by releasing a Rose Gold color variant and it is expected to have a screen size of 5.5 inches that will render a resolution of 1080. Instead of a microUSB port, the handset will feature a Type-C USB port, so you will never have to worry about plugging the port the incorrect way ever again and best of all, the maximum transfer speeds of this particular interface is 10Gbps, or twice the speed of USB 3.0.
According to a source, UMi iRon Pro is expected to retail for $169.99, and will be available worldwide through a chain of online retailers. If the pricing happens to be right all along, then UMi iRon Pro will easily be able secure a large portion of the market and in the act, it might also take away a considerable chunk secured by Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, which happens to be one of the best price/performance handsets ever.
