During today’s earnings conference call, Ubisoft executives admitted that Watch Dogs 2 pre-orders are currently not as high as they hoped. Overall, Ubisoft is reducing the revenue target for FY17 as a result of more conservative sell-in estimates for titles launching in this fiscal year. However, they mentioned that pre-orders do not necessarily tell the whole story and in the past, Far Cry had a situation with low pre-orders and high sales.

Ubisoft also noted that there’s been overwhelmingly positive feedback for Watch Dogs 2, including internal playtests. In fact, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot went as far as saying that Watch Dogs 2 is expected to be the premiere action game this Holiday season.

The game is scheduled to launch in less than two weeks (November 15th) on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while PC players will have to wait the end of the month (November 29th). The upside is that Ubisoft apparently took great care of the PC version with dedicated optimization and multiGPU support available at launch.

Yesterday, Ubisoft also revealed the full breadth of post-launch content that will be included with the Watch Dogs 2 Season Pass (priced at $40). The game takes place in a new setting, San Francisco, with players taking the role of new protagonist Marcus Holloway (who is very much capable of moving throughout the city through parkour).

His voice actor, Ruffin Prentiss, noted that Marcus represents all African-American people working in the tech industry, for once. We’ve embedded the official minimum & recommended requirements below; Watch Dogs 2 will also support PlayStation 4 Pro, running at 1800P with checkerboard rendering.
