tvOS 10 Beta 7 Released For Developers
tvOS 10 beta 7 is now available to download by registered developers. Here’s how you can update straight away.
tvOS 10 Beta 7 Arrives With Lesser Fanfare Than iOS 10 Beta 8
Apart from iOS 10 beta 8 and iOS 10 Public Beta 7, Apple released tvOS 10 beta 7 for developers as well. And while tvOS 10 beta 7 might not end up ruffling more feathers than iOS 10 beta, but still it’s an important update to have, given you’re a developer, of course.
Since it’s a developer-only release, therefore public testers can’t try it out. Until or unless you have a friend who can hook you up with it. Nonetheless, here are the steps to update to the latest beta 7 build in no time, given you have tvOS 10 beta installed already in the first place.
- Turn on your Apple TV 4.
- Go to Settings.
- Now go to ‘System’ and ‘Software Updates.’
- Install the available update from here.
Keep in mind your Apple TV will restart in order to complete the installation process. Therefore do not touch the device when everything is in progress. You want everything to go as smoothly as possible for you.
Once the installation is complete you can use your Apple TV as you normally would.
It’s somewhat of a disappointment that tvOS 10 isn’t a mighty release when compared to the original tvOS build. But at the same time when you consider how big tvOS already is on the big screen, we will give Apple a pass this time around for not pushing out something major.
tvOS 10 will see release alongside iOS 10 final, so be sure to update your Apple TV 4 when the time arrives. We will keep our readers updated if Apple has packed anything new in this release.
